Is it normal to miss a teacher this much??!

While I was still a student a school, I added her on Facebook as a joke. She thanked me and told me it was nothing personal towards me that she couldn't accept. Then in the summer, I added her again because I was planning on going to Drama school so I added her again, she left the request pending. I ended up going back to school and she became my teacher again this year. I graduated her class in May and I added her a few days after graduation but she just left the request pending again. She does have former students on Facebook. She has a boy who was in her class 5 years ago and a girl from last year. She didn't say anything the last two times I tried adding her. I have her school email address and school mobile number and she said for us to stay in contact but I think she meant on school links. I miss her like crazy. We had a strong teacher/student relationship and I keep stalking her profile I want to add her so bad but this would be my fourth time. Could I have some advice please??!

    Everyone have their own Facebook circle. I worked in a company and I have added nearly everyone I know who work there but I don't add anyone from my neighborhood or any relative because my Facebook friend list is full of my professional circle.
    There is a possibility that your teacher is not comfortable adding her students as she is having her close friends, relatives, family or people not related to her professional life in her friend list.
    If you want to add her you will have to talk to her about it. Call her and request her to accept you as Facebook friend. You may have to convince her for it.
