Is it normal to miss being on a cruise ship?

A few weeks ago, I went on my first cruise. I had so much fun and felt like it was my home for that short time. Ever since I got back, I have been feeling kind of homesick for the boat and I feel like I want to go back more than anything. Is it normal to feel this way after a vacation?

I've been on 12 cruises and the feeling is totally normal...I've dubbed it the "post cruise blues"

Become a sailor or a navy officer.

I've only been on a mini cruise, but I always go into a deep depression after coming home from a nice vacation (because life at home just sucks in comparison).

They call it a vacation for a reason.

I had a harder time reacclimating after a cruise than any other vacation.. So for me it's totally normal! I even felt like my house was floating for weeks!!

  • Yes! I've been on two cruises and the first one I miss insanely. It was in February 2009 and I was with my really good friends, everytime I'm with them we reminisice about the cruise and I just want to go back so badly.

Oh my. I love cruises! I've been on five. I love to have my bed made every day. Cooked for and just feel pampered. The people on the cruises are so nice. I have never come across a mean person yet. I'm going again in August.
