Is it normal to move with your boyfriend to a new city?

We've been living together for six months and he found out he got a job in a city that's 10 hours away by car. right away he asked me to come with him and I said yes. My parents don't act happy about it but haven't told me not to go. Now I feel nervous about going. I'm still going, that hasn't changed. I thought it would be a great opportunity to live somewhere new and maybe get a better job for me too. It's normal to move away right? I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 26.
