Is it normal to never feel alone?

K, so considering myself a nutbag, every home I enter I feel like im being watched, and NEVER alone. I seem to notice things walking past me, I even hear breaths completely separate from mine right next to me now and then. I dont notice in public because there's always tons of people around, so I know im obviously not alone when im in a cround. I ignore it, but it always comes to bug me.

If it's a constant thing, it's indicative of some form of psychosis, that is you have hallucinations affecting your sight and your hearing. Or perhaps you have paranoid delusions which make you think an ordinary noise is someone breathing beside you.

It could be mild Schizophrenia. I would suggest you seek therapy or medication if it is impacting badly upon your life. If it is something you can easily deal with then just be aware, in all likelihood, it's all in your head.

It isn't schizophrenia. In reality you are never alone and you are being watched. Everything you do, say, and think is witnessed.

  • I'm a little superstitious when it comes to spirits and such, though I never really even believed in them. (Which one day of course I changed my mind when I saw one). My previous home before the one I am in now used to have hauntings.

The doors would open and close on their own, animals would bark at nothing, I caught an actual video in my bedroom, my baby brother's toys would turn on and talk when the power switch is on "off", and there would in general be things moving on their own and footsteps at 2 in the morning when no one is awake along side my bed.

So I understand how you feel. Follow your instincts when you feel someone is watching you though, because whenever I had that feeling, it usually turns out someone is actually present.

-It all depends on what you believe I suppose, but don't ignore this because you feel you're a "Nutbag".
I would consider this situation generally Normal. =D

that happens to me!!! last night I heard somebody whisper my name from the back of the room. I thought it was my brother because it sounded like his voice but he was across the house sleeping on the couch. I would've noticed him enter the room too, since I was right next to the door and it was closed. I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but since it happens to me I guess it is?
