I am a junior in highschool, and i have never been invited to a party? Is this normal? also, it seems as if i only have two close friends, ids this also normal?
I hosted parties of all sorts even going on whole weekends. All kinds of fun drugs too. Hell that was standard. Good times
Same boat as you, I don't have many friends, about to be a junior, but i don't really mind it. I'd rather just hang out with the two friends that I have then go to a party. Sounds more appealing.
I wish I could have. I've never even played "truth or dare" with anyone. I get how you feel.
I'm 40 so this brings me back to my younger years.
I never went or was invited in HS.
I went off to college for 1 year and came home, it wasn't till then when my friends expanded and I began to "hang out" go out and eventually went to house parties.
IMO they weren't crazy like the movies but were also filled with less drama and I found better relationships and memories because of them. I also never woke up black out drunk so I remember the conversations and girls I met the morning after.
Totally normal.
I'm in the same boat as you. Don't worry about partying, from what ive heard its all about smoking and drinking and i despise that. Honestly just forget that idea and live a happier life than they are and dont smoke or drink because youll get addicted and you dont want that :)
Its better to have close friends than shitty ones. Colledge parties are where its at, so dont worry. But if this includes birthday parties than this is sad..
Movies make it seem like parties happen all the time in high school but they dont really. I never went to parties in high school they suck its just sloppy drunks and bad music. When events like prom happen or dances people might throw parties so if you want find those people or just dont go to parties.
haha, someone has been watching to many movies, unless you're a popular one, you most likely never will.
