    I don't find it funny either. I don't really find any sit-com to be funny though.

      Yeah same, Big Bang Theory is basically just making pop culture references and saying nerdy/science words, followed by a laugh track. Somehow it's extremely popular though...

        That's what most sitcoms or comedy shows in general are now. It's not as much actual jokes as "oh there's a reference to something that I recognize"

        If it was actually funny you wouldn't need the laugh track.

            If you think about it, it's kind of brainwashing in a way. Showing people something that isn't even funny and then telling them they're supposed to laugh or they just didn't get it.

    I like The Big Bang Theory. It's one of those shows where you have to watch from the beginning and watch the characters develope to "get it".
