Is it normal to not know what to think

Two years ago, my dog died of lyme disease, and we got a puppy the next year (a golden retriever) and she is one year old now and we found out today that she has lyme disease, and we have to do tests on her kidneys. my older sister also told us today that my other dog (5 year old pug) had lyme disease the same time my other dog did but the pug didnt show symptoms so she treated it and kept it a secret. One of my sisters also has lyme disease, is it normal to not know what to think anymore? Its hard not to feel bad/sad any advice would be awesome! (sorry its so long)

    three dogs and a sister with lyme disease? that is freaky. I hope yall figure out what's causing it

    you should use flea treatments on your dog. He probably got a tick and it passed it onto your dog.

    My puppy even got vaccinated and we used the frontline plus/tick repelling medicine idk how she got it!
