If your family lets you down then it makes sense. If you just try to be edgy, not a good idea.
It's normal if they frequently disappoint you, or do other things to make you distrust them.
Blood matters mainly because children born of incest are in more danger of birth defects. "Love is a verb".
The concept that simple blood ties entitle a person to trust, even if they've done nothing to earn such a precious thing, could scarcely be more arbitrary.
Well, like recluded already said, it depends on your reasons.
I don't trust very much of my family. I do trust my sister, to an extent. We're not very close anymore, but we try to touch base every so often. I don't trust my brother pretty much at all. He's kind of a no-good that's been on a downward path for quite some time. We don't have anything in common anymore, and he's currently in jail yet again... I don't trust my mom very much, as she's proven to be self serving quite a few times. I do trust my dad for the most part. He hasn't always been there for me, but we've grown closer in recent years and I know I can depend on him if I need him. He's pretty much all i've got besides my girlfriend's family.
Anyway, what's your reasons?
Yes everyone has there reasons not all familys are great from experience! i dont trust mine at all there horrible people who you can trust and make you feel comftable are 100 times better
