Is it normal to not understand books without hearing it?

I guess I'm an auditory learner, because I cannot comprehend most reading without hearing it aloud. I mean, I can read of course, but my comprehension is usually a lot better when someone's reading aloud or I have an audiobook.

I don't gain well from listening to things boisterous unless its basic directions yet entangled things are troublesome. My mind just begins meandering or as I'm attempting to handle the information I'm feeling the loss of the following thing said.

I think its normal ppl learn in different ways. I don't learn well from hearing things out loud unless its simple instructions but complicated things are difficult. My mind just starts wandering or as I'm trying to process the info I'm missing the next thing said.
