Is it normal to not understand your gps system for the past 3 years?

i mean my father, who is 52 right now had to deal with a Peugeot 308 w/ a built in Touchscreen and GPS System and on the last week of having it before he gets his Skoda Karoq from the Car Dealership in Cobham, he finally figures out how to put the postcode in the Navigation Aid, after 3 years of trying to figure the fucking car out, he finally does it (by accident).

is this normal or is my father a bit Screw Loose?
