I'm in high school and it starts back up Monday. I know I'm blessed to be able to revive the education that i do , but I've never wanted to not go to school more in my life. I know it's not even that bad but things have changed for me,like friend groups. I used to have a good friend group till I was the #1 topic for girls to gossip about. Once I saw I was being backstabbers I distanced myself from them. I have 1 good friend that's been loyal to me and I also have a loyal boyfriend. I guess my mind is working myself up?

    You know how they say: "Life gets harder after school". I tell you a secret: It doesen't.
    The older you get the less you care what others think about you. Things don't seem so dramatic anymore and the people around you are adults that know respect and empathy. Whatever you'll be doing you will have chosen for yourself and they'll give you money for doing it.
    You're right: Education is important and that's why you'll have to keep going to school. I can't make it easier for you, I can only steal a phrase from the LGBT community: It gets better.
    It really does.

    school; where children mentally and physically traumatize each other without any real reprecussions with a side of brain washing from the authority figures. personally, my favourite moment in school was when i witnessed a seven year old stab another in the throat with a pair of scissors.

    I don't blame you for not wanting to go back. Some girls can be so mean in high school :(. I'm glad you have some support from a good friend and your boyfriend. You never know what the school year will bring. I hope much better things!
