Is it normal to not want to have a iphone and all that new techno crap

Everywhere i look i see people walking around with their phones texting constantly. I literally see them as zombies attached to their phones.

It's quite sad, especially when I notice it at a restaurant between a couple where one or both of them have their phones out texting and not paying attention to each other.

I actually do have a phone but a really crummy one and dont really give a damn because whats the point of getting a new one when in the next 6months a new phone is gonna come out?

Take a look at the beautiful world around you and not about what your friend is bitching about on facebook! :D

I'm with you! There's only one reason for my mobile - so that my son or his school can get in touch with me. I don't feel the need to keep up an image and can't believe how rude some people are when they are out for the night with friends!!

My husband is a builder and he has the original Nokia 3310 which cost me $7 off ebay. This has survived many a fall or dunking in buckets of plaster.

I studied marketing and those who are drip fed this technology are just marketing men's wet dreams.

I <3 my iPhone but I don't think it's a healthy replacement for people interaction.

I love technology, but sometimes I get skeptical when new things come out. When wii came out to replace gamecube I got very defensive and had hatred for wii.

Now I have a wii and I still play with both consoles. You'll find pros and cons wherever you go. Before, I got my first phone I thought it was stupid and I didn't get the whole concept. I get it now:)

I have iPhone 4 and I don't have Facebook. I do have blogspot, tumblr, google plus (I guess) and of course IIN:)
I don't really use my phone to login to the sites. I'm using the app for this on because it's basically flawless.

Needless to say, don't judge others:)

My friend has a new iPhone and he wouldn't shut up about the Siri voice recognition. He's from 18 miles north of me and so has a very different accent indeed. What's hilarious is that his own phone now doesn't understand him but it understands me perfectly even when saying non-English words.

But, to answer your question, I love all technology but I love people more and the person I'm with gets my attention.

I love my iPhone because I'm never bored with it around, but I never would pay more attention to my phone then my friends. I mainly got it because my work had no internet access. I know plenty of people who don't see the need for a smart phone and it's perfectly normal.
