Is it normal to not want to sleep in my room cause of a mouse?

Hey everyone! So my dilemma is that a few days ago I was sitting in my bedroom on my laptop when I saw an ugly, scary mouse come out from underneath my bed! I'm not entirely sure how it got there because my room is quite tidy and I never eat in there either. I suspect that there may be a small hole in the wall underneath my bed so that is possible but I'm way too scared too look!

It's been 5 days and I'm 100% sure that the mouse is still in my room because I saw it again today. My dad has put mouse traps in my room to catch it but until it is actually caught I'm sleeping on the couch downstairs because I'm so scared of them and I don't want one crawling on me in my sleep!

Is not wanting to sleep in your room because of a mouse normal? Has anyone else been in this situation before? If so how'd you handle it?

I was at my grandmother's house, and there was a mouse that kept waking me up because it was nibbling at my hair on the top of my head. Seriously. I woke up and did not go back to sleep after that.

lol i experienced this once. had a mouse staying with me for a few days. pissed me off b/c he wasn't invited and he was not paying rent or helping with groceries. and i didn't know what he was going to me while i was sleeping. i spent days trying to catch him; finally did. the poor guy was sooo scared. i felt horrible afterwards. so i took him to an empty lot down the street and set him free. i'm sure he moved back into my house later.

It probably would bite if it was scared enough to do so.

You can't just chase them out with a broom you idiot! Mice run pretty fast. Much too fast to chase them with brooms.

How about I put a mouse or rat in your bed and see if you still say the same thing? lol!

It looks like I'm 82% normal so more people agree with me than you anyway so whatever.

They aren't fast, you are slow. Also I wasn't saying about not wanting to cuddle with a mouse but being too pussy to enter the room for a week.
