I just can't sit through them.
I don't blame you at all. I'd say 90% of stuff coming out of Hollywood is junk. They're so hard up for scripts that they're making 3rd or 4th remakes, usually with terrible results. They work in sex, violence, and cultural war stuff in to appeal to a wide audience to sell tickets.
Most movies are pretty dull and uninteresting. I too cannot sit through those.
However, there are some that are really engaging. I love those.
Gamers have a hard time watching movies. Are you a gamer?
If it's not interactive they lose interest quickly. Kind of like porn if your watching by yourself then it's only a matter of time before you take things into your own hands and make it interactive. Lol.
I'm not a big fan unless it's a really good one. When I'm at home, it's much harder to sit through one unless it catches my interest. I usually use the TV at home for background noise. However, it's much easier in the movie theater when there are no distractions or things I feel need to be done around the house. If the movie is exceptionally boring in the theater, I usually sleep through it. 🤣
Yeah I'm not much of a movie watcher.
Unless it's something with amazing visuals or existing action scenes I'm not intrested.
If I wanted to sit though politics I would play dragon age or look at the news.
I love watching movies. It's a shorter commitment than a series which is pretty much a 12-hour movie broken down.
