Is it normal to only have two good friends.

Both my boyfriend and my bestfriend are going to graduate this year. While they are out exploring the world I will be have to suffer through yet another year of college. They seem to be all I have and I'm not exactly sure what to do without them. I just don't want to be forgotten or left behind.

You can count TRUE friends on 1 hand. Answer = Yes.

Grow up. Make new friends and move on. Most people have very few people in the course of a lifetime that are true friends. You will have a lot of aquaintances but only one or two true friends.

nope they might just move on. sorry about that.

don't cling to things in life, not because they are not worth it but because something better tends to come along.

PS. they wouldn't be out 'exploring the world'(lest they join the army), and it's likely you'll still be friends but obviously just not everyday friends... if that makes any sense.

If they're your true friends, they won't leave you behind. And friendship is not about the number. It doesn't matter whether you have one or even none. I would rather have none if I can't have one that I can actually say is my true friend. A person can have 6 people that they call their friends. But out of those six, who can you really count on? Usually either one, two at most, or none. Be lucky that you have two.

At the moment, I have two also. Not many people even have that. I feel more confident about one of them being the true one. I choose wisely who my friends are. And I have a lot of acquaintances, and people who I'm starting to open up to. Its better then having 10 that are hardly true vs. one who I know will be my friend forever. Bottom line, if they're your true friends, you won't be left behind. And if you know they're your true friends, you won't worry that you'll get left behind. They would've never given you reason to worry.
