Is it normal to only sleep 3 nights per week?

Ok, so I'll write my motives for this as simple as I can... As a 24 year old single female with no financial support, I work as a full-time illustrator for books, magazines, anything I can grab. It only gives me enough money to pay my bills if I work A LOT. This is mostly because I live in a third-world country - if it wasn't the case I would have a great living, speaking in terms of comfort. All I want is a decent flat and some free time.
But I need to work for a lot of editors at the same time. More work, more money. So basically I drink a lot of caffeine and pop about 600mg of modafinil per day (I can stay up for 3-4 nights straight like that). It's only until I have enough money to get out of here, though.
Also, when I sleep, it's more like a 3 hour nap. I also have zero appetite (I'm only 45kg right now, and I'm kind of tall) and only sociolize so I can feel a little sane. My lifestyle is quite isolated despite having friends.
I don't mind any of it because I love my job. Does anyone else do this or is it just me?
But the worst is, I'm not even that great of an artist. Quite mediocre compared to real professionals, actually. I feel like a worthless human being sometimes, inside and out.
If you'd like to check some of my work and give a feedback, I would love that, even if you hate it. Any word about it is more than welcome. Here it is: http://juliaflohr.deviantart.com/

Thanks so much for your time :) Am I abnormal? Will I die eventually from lack of sleep and too much modafinil?

Well, I can confidently say you won't be lasting more then a couple more months at the most if you keep this up.

Especially when the caffeine and modafinil become less effective due to adrenal fatigue.

oh, yeah... there's that. I don't drive and I'm usually at home but the tolerance/abstinence sure has been problematic. Maybe I'll try quitting it cold turkey. thanks for the info and advice

No problem. Please think of your health more often. I'm not here to tell you what to do, I'm just saying statistically you're better off and you're more likely to live longer by sleeping.

It's not the lack of sleep itself that is deadly, unless you somehow force your body with drugs or pain to stay awake. Not sleeping greatly weakens your immune system and messes up your bodily functions. Especially your nervous system. Plus, even if you do just pass out, it could be while you are driving or outside. You could get in a wreak, or if you just pass out in a random building or outdoors someone could kidnap you. You will also be less mentally alert and more likely to experience a fatal accident.

Your chances of survival are far lower if you sleep as little as possible. I would definitely suggest sleeping more if you care about your safety.

Good job on your art. Bad job for your health. You might as well smoke if you keep staying up. That's how unhealthy it is.

Your work looks good, your lifestyle is not normal.
