Is it normal to only watch anime and not watch any western television?

I started watching anime in high school and now I'm in college and that's all I can watch. Western entertainment just seems bland in comparison.

    I used to share that opinion, but then western TV came out with some hits. Have you tried Game of Thrones, Westworld, Black Mirror, The Handmaid's Tale, Mr.Robot, Breaking Bad, or anything similar? This honestly feels like a golden age of television.

    Of course it all comes down to preference. Death Note and Magica Madoka might be some of my favorite shows of all time, but I feel like most anime has problems with oversexualization and weird obsessions with pedophilic or incestual undertones.

    I've never been able to watch anime. I find it boring. I always thought Speed Racer looked like a girl.
