Is it normal to panic about not being accomplished

is it normal that I panic about being accomplished. I have a fear of not accomplishing my goals. I've experince some failure in life but I just don't like the thought of not doing somthing with my life. it's the type of fear that keeps me up at night is that normal or am I being to dramatic?

    You need to change from being a goal-oriented thinker into a system-oriented one. The difference is huge:

    goal: six pack abs
    system: only eat healthy, exercise a little each day

    In a goal, you're in a constant, anxious state of failure until you achieve it (or give up). A system is daily victories, creating huge ones over time.

        I think the best way to think of it is that we each have a pool of willpower that restores itself at the start of each day. By creating 'systems' we create habits that don't take as much willpower to follow.

        If you have cupcakes and brownies around the house, you're going to get drained of energy and willpower to stick to your diet. But if don't have those around, and only have healthy foods in your kitchen, then your willpower is still there to be used.

    accomplished in respect to whom? Who cares, there'll always be someone more accomplished and someone less so just live and stop panicking
