Is it normal to panic whenever someone gets too close to your face?

In real life and in videos on the internet I panic and I hyperventilate whenever someone gets too close it feels like they're invading my personal space. Is it normal?

Don't know if it's normal, but I do the same, only in real life. Could be a sign of social anxiety.

I back up, if they keep doing it, I tell them to back up. I also hate it if they spit when they talk.
