Just be glad you aren't majoring in English.

I am kind of in your situation. I am majoring in Medical Office Technology. At first, I thought I really loved it and wanted to do it, but now I'm not so sure... I just don't want to waste two years of my life getting a job that sucks and that I don't like.

You're not stuck. The longer you wait to change majors the more time and money you waste. Just admit you want to change and move on.

I don't know where the statistics come from, but it was emphasized when I was in college that on average, a college student will change their major 2 to 3 times. NORMAL

Yeah it's normal. Heaps of people realise that they want to study something else. There's no point continuing to study something if you don't enjoy it or if you feel there's something else you'd rather do. Just do what makes you feel happy.

  • of coarse its normal, happens to people all the time. if you have a major that you think you like..do more research on it, do volunteer work that is related to your major and then you will be able to tell if its for you.

Totally normal. Search for what you like, experiment, and as soon as you are sure you´ve found your passion -- go for it.)

    No kidding, Schweet. :)

It is totally normal to want to change yor major. If you don't like it, do something you actually enjoy. You don't want to end up doing something you hate. I myself have changed majors a few times searching for my calling. Sure, it takes longer to graduate if you do that, but when you find what it is you truly love, it is worth it. Besides, the job market sucks right now-- why hurry? You will enjoy going to class a lot more if it is what you want to do.
