Is it normal to plan your death at mid eighties

I am hoping to leave this world peacefully but after mid eighties by hook or crook. medicare/medicaid will not be here and the medical community wants to prolong life. whaaaaaaaat? noooooooooo? babyboom retirements will barely provide food shelter and clothing. I will not stand for medical care beyond this point. Is it normal to plan your own quiet murder? Hemlock grows wild in the creekbed near the cottage. Yummmmmy in a salad with a little arugula and pine nuts.

I'm going to go next year if I can't succeed at business and 59 otherwise. A life as a submissive person who has to accept whatever comes along and where you can't get a gf is not worth living.

How do you know this won't be your reality when you are 50? Are you just going to watch the world fall apart or are you going to do something about it?

"shit" for another 60 something years could be a very interesting journey for you and the others who love you and will love you. I'd think about sticking around a bit more.

I'm not going to live that long, I've decided. I think mid-30's, I'm going to go. It's not that I'm afraid of old age, I just really don't care to go through shit for another 60-something years.

I've planned (not in depth) my death for mid-60's; old enough to see my children graduate, have grandkids, but not old enough to lose my mind or bowels.

I plan to be like the grandpa in Little Miss Sunshine, taking as many hard drugs as possible at that age. If that doesn't work, well... who am I kidding I'll take more drugs.

Fear of old age is probably a major phobia for those of us who are young.
Plan by all means, but reserve judgement until you reach, and had gone past eighty.
If life is that terrible then you may just finish yourself there and then..
But if possible, if you start saving a bit more every month, maybe you'll have enough to tie over until ninety?
