Why, when there are chess clubs, online chess, and even computer programs that play?
sounds incredibly boring. You know there's such a thing as online chess?
No it's stupid, you know what move you're going to make.
I play against the computer or the phone. Used to be in the chess club in school.
reminds me of the opening short to the "Bugs Life" movie. where the old guy is playing chess.
it's not possible to beat yourself, you would have to make a mistake on purpose.
I suggest you visit this site: <a href="http://www.chess.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.chess.com/</a>
You can play live matches against other people for free. If the reason you play alone is cause of lacking a chess buddy, this should be very helpful.
P.S. add me If you try it out : FelixOfEngland
well at least that way you know that you will win no matter what side wins lol
I like it. It's surprisingly challenging to beat myself, if I play equally strong for both parties.
There is chess online you could play. Maybe give that a go.
I've tried doing that before though. I couldn't stand my other self :P
