Is it normal to pull out my hair when bored?

I usually pull my hair out when I'm bored. Sometimes I'll catch myself with out knowing I was pulling hair out to begin with. Most of the time it's when I'm in clas and bored as hell, or just mindlessly watching tv. I usually stop so that I don't get bald spots or anything.

    There are known disorders where people pull out their hair obsessively. Though it sounds like your habit is mild, try to occupy yourself with something else when you're idle - like twisting a piece of string or just something to occupy your hands.
