Only in movies have I seen people take their frustration out on brick walls... I wouldn't recommend you do it again, just because it is potentially harmful. As an alternative, you should participate in sports or get a stress ball (those things really do help).
You might damage your hands permanently if you continue to do this. You sound like you have anger problems, look it up on Google.
My husband used to do something similar to this. He has punched out two windshields for two different reasons, on two different occasions.
Before we met, his first car finally broke down on him. He was so frustrated and pissed that he punched the windshield in a knee-jerk type of reaction.
The second time, we were out on a date and there was a detour in the road due to construction. I attempted to help by giving directions. I told him that if you just take three lefts you would go back to the same road and we could return the way we came. (It was a main road surrounded by city blocks and side roads.) Anyway, after he discovered I was right and we got un-lost he vented his frustration into the windshield.
Of course, I was more worried about his bleeding fist than the windshield... xD
He almost did this a third time, but I snapped at him like you would a bad dog. "AH-AH." He stopped mid-punch and I thought he was going to blow a gasket... xD
He's a lot calmer now than he was then though. :)
