ok im a 20 year old male. I hate working , to the point id rather be poor an cant aford anything than work. Id rather be homeless an beg for money than work for it. Is it wrong for me to rather refuse work an go live on the streets street performing for money . or should i go an commit myself over an over to a mental facility to avoid being on the streets an have a safe place to sleep eat, etc. Im not mentally disabled. ive gone to college, graduated highschool with high grades, completed vocation courses in graphic arts. if i had the money or a way to make enouf money id just travel around in a car begging around the country for as long as i can. as of now im enrolled in a school for the next couple of years out of state. Once im done their im not sure what im gonna do . like i said its either, homelessness, a mental hospital or jail . I dont want to be locked up but i cant take care of myself either an hate the idea of being homeless. i Will not get a job

    It sounds to me like you can't grow up. But no, begging from others is not a good way to live, and it isn't normal to hate work to the point that you're considering being homeless or in a mental hospital.

    Try it. See how long you last before you go wanting a job. You'll be lucky, unlike real homeless people, because you won't last long enough to get so dirty youre unpresentable for an interview.

    You are still young, live life, why make your life more miserable? You can do many things right now but do you want your whole life like this? Don't you want a family? Be thankful for what you have because homeless people or people in prison would love to be in your position. If you become homeless who knew what you could've missed? You could of missed many good opportunities. you don't want to be 60 years old saying "oh I was lazy, I hated working and I'd rather be homeless I said in those days, I wish I could go back time and live life, I could of maby had a family, kids, grandkids, but look where I am now, on the streets.." Think again.

    You are the CEO of your life.

    Here are the decisions you're making at 20 years of age:
    - you don't wanna work and you say 'I will not get a job'

    - you say you'd rather be homeless and beg for money on the streets (which in itself is a kind of job, so you ARE going to be working, but it's a pretty shit way to make a living)

    - you also say you 'don't want to be homeless', trouble is you are setting yourself up for being homeless, which is ok if you really want to live that way, but I can't imagine it's a great way to live.

    If you need help with your mental health, go and find it
