Is it normal to read a book in a coffee shop for a long time

I have read in blogs that people are planning to read a book in a coffee shop (of course for a long period of time) and asking for places so that they make out with a book and a nice coffee. what if the waiter says to leave, your mood will become off right? or what the people think ?

I do not understand the question? By the way the some coffee shops have book stores attached. They kind of go together. Though I myself prefer tea over anything. Since tea is the most wonderful thing on this planet.

Good question.I've wondered that myself. But for me its not relaxing reading in public.Id rather snuggle up in the comfort of my own home for that.

As long as you keep buying, there shouldn't be a problem. If you go in at 8 in the morning and stay till the afternoon and only buy one drink, I can see them being cheesed off about that.

Sounds like a pleasant afternoon to me.

    Why not?

The waiter can't kick you out without a good reason anyway.

Sounds pretty standard to me. Sounds pleasant, as well. There's nothing like a book and coffee. I don't really know what question you were trying to ask, but there's my opinion.
