Is it normal to read stories on is it normal and pretend to be friends with ...

the posters?

I like reading a bunch of random stories on is it normal and I like thinking about being in their shoes and living their lives. I also like to do the same thing with the commenters. Is this fantasy normal?

I think that's nice. I know I do this with many stories. It's much better than going into attack mode with every comment. I wish more people made comments as if they were talking to friends. I think this is normal for some users, but not all of them.

Well I take it as way of trying to understand a person's point of view from their view.

Thinking outside the square. I wished society was like.

That's a great way to give better advice. With that mindset, I'd imagine you don't find yourself attacking posters on a regular basis "YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT HOW DARE YOU *insert action here*".
