Is it normal to record friends without them knowing?

One day, just prior to the beginning of class, a great number of people decided that it would be fun to sit outside of our CWP teacher's class, blocking his path and confusing him. We all crowded around the door, the student bubble stretching into the hall adjacent to ours. I was seated next to my girlfriend and decided that the crowded area, and lack of escape-ability, was perfectly suited for a good tickling. :) This is the weird bit, about 6 seconds into the tickle session, my friend stealthily pulls out his camera phone and starts recording us! It was only after another friend pulled his phone from him, and showed me, that I had any idea that this was going on! 35 seconds of attempted up-skirts and frenzied angle shots. Wtf!? In summation, is it normal for a friend to creep on my girlfriend and I like this?

    Kinda creepy if it was done on the sly. If it was done openly like, "Gonna put this on YouTube!", that's one thing. But doing it secretly probably means he wanted it for himself and that's creepy.
