Is it normal to relax to a religious book?
This isn't uncommon, I think, but to get at his goat, I stressed my brother Ashley out by reading the Holy Bible as an atheist, but the truth is doing this helps me to relax, it strengthens my atheism so I can point out flaws in logic and untruths in the Bible. But my ultimate spiritual relaxation is but two: Tibetan Buddhist books and the thinking of theosophy, Boehmian theosophy, and the more I think this way the more I connect and explore all levels of reality, I even co-penetrate human with the divine, I find truth in this, extremely difficult as it is to creatively think this way I learned all that needs to be learned in theosophy, which is in 3s. But with Tibetan Buddhist books I get my relaxation, simply because I find that secularisation's a poison and the antireligious are crazy and the pro-religious are sane people. Think about it, being 100% antireligious when you try to disprove the religious can make you aggressive and it can drive you mad, and I'm talking about the atheists. People think my atheist preaching is evil, they think I'm an asshole, well I can assure you I'm not an asshole. Calmness and peace of mind, along with meditation, which I read and reread in my religious (Tibetan Buddhist) book helps me to relax more than a secular book, like a science book or a travel book, which has no comforting words, just stating the facts, both the secular and religious books are true, and the atheist books are true, and I can relax to a book called 'The God Delusion' whilst drinking a cup of coffee and smoking a hand rolled cigarette at night, is any of this normal?
