Is it normal to say bless you to yourself after you sneeze, even if you are alone? I'v been doing this for a week for some reason.

    My friend used to say it to herself once. It's sort of strange, but not abnormal.

    Not normal. When I pass wind I never say anything except to blame it on someone else.

    I prefer "excuse me." "Bless me" seems too self-congratulatory.

    You're probably just so used to hearing it following a sneeze that it has become a sub-concious reaction, just be careful not to do it in public.
