Even if i heard what someones saying my instinct response is often "what?" and then i realize two seconds later i knew exactly what they said..

Holy crap that is Soo funny I just clicked on 'IIN to suck your fingers' while biting my thumb and I was about to post 'say what?' on another thread when I saw this thread and burst out laughing
I'll usually say ''what?'' if I didn't hear them right. Or say it to be annoying.
I don't know, but it sure bugs me when someone has to say "right?" at the end of things. "I know, right?" Um, yes?
It is unbearably TOO normal for me. Lots of my folks do this. Sadly enough, it brushes off on me sometimes and I can't stand giving someone else the burden to repeat themselves when it was pretty clear on what was said :\ i feel like a hypocrite!
Frankly, when I'm asked to repeat myself after being very CLEAR, I just wait a couple of seconds and allow the information to process in their heads (sounds so arrogant!). The moment of insecurity eventually passes. It is so painfully awkward though Haha
