Is it normal to scare the shit out of your pets

Me and my dog have a game we play. When he's laying somewhere unaware of my presence I'll slowly sneak up ninja style and surprise his ass. He leaps and half yelps half barks. When I'm dying on the floor laughing he wags his tail in realization that he has been gotten. Later I'll be on the computer or something and he'll sneak up right behind me and bark and hit the chair. He fuckin loves it.
Does anyone else get their jollies surprising their pets?

    Haha that's brilliant. Sounds like u got a good rel with your dog! All pets like playing and he prob sees it as a game :)

    Me and my cat does that all the time ^^! She'll be laying somewhere and I'll sneak up to her and grab her making her jump. Then she'll glare at me giving me an 'i'll get my revenge look'. So she'll wait a couple hours later when I'm bending down and jumps on my back scaring the shizz out of me. xD

    My cat loves scaring me. It's so funny. He'll jump out of somewhere and grab my ankle. Then I'll jump and yelp/laugh and he'll look so satisfied with himself.
