Is it normal to see colors really bright when smoking weed?

So, i have been smoking weed for almost half a year.
Not everyday, but maybe once a week. So last night, i got really stoned with some friends, we were smoking hash in joints, i dont know how much i had, but i was very high.
So everytime i was looking at something, it was like every color was very bright. i have never experienced this before from smoking weed.
Does anyone know if this is normal?

    I found colours were softer and prettier when under the influence, but that was a cookie and I was sitting at a dinner table late at night

    things should be a bit more vivid but actual hallucinations involving color are infrequent and signal an abnormal reaction to cannabinoids
