Is it normal to see silhouettes when closing my eyes?
When I close my eyes, I can focus on what I’m seeing. It’s not just darkness, they’re not floaters. This usually happens in a dark room obviously since I’m trying to sleep. The more I focus on it, the more intense they become.
I can see silhouettes, faces like those on canadian bills, colors (pink turned to red turned to blue, they were in some circle with spikes at the edges), cobweb-like patterns, trees, stuff you’d see from a fairytale except they’re not from any fairytale i know (a silhouette of a girl holding a basket), tiny ‘particles’ that move around, and prisms. i also see things move when they aren’t in the dark only.
some are extremely clear while others aren’t. these only last for a brief moment, they always fade into something else. i cannot manipulate them just yet.
I think they’re hallucinations? I can also see millions of colored dots. like the ones you see on a tv screen but the transparency is lower. i also saw ‘hair’ around my fingers forming. around my hand or any body part of mine formed water-like borders. i think i also heard some footsteps or felt presences, so i think they’re hallucinations but i’m not entirely sure.
i’m having trouble sleeping since i keep focusing on them. i try to fight it by staying awake with my eyes open until i feel i can fall asleep immediately.
more examples:
-lingerie-like patterns behind a pink hue
- a hand reaching out
-people sitting at a table drinking
- a top hat
NOTE: These only happen for a brief moment, they always fade into something else. (the prisms are the only things i’ve seen that were able to stay for a while)
