Is it normal to share food with my dogs

I have two dogs and they like to drink my water and lick my Popsicle or suckers when i have them. i have no qualms about eating or drinking off of something my dog licked, is that normal?

    The problem is that dogs think nothing of eating raw meat and vermin plus all sorts of things humans would avoid. This puts you at a high risk for getting parasites from your dogs.

    Did that with my cat when she was a baby and I still wouldn't have problems with it now so I think it's perfectly normal. Lol :P
