Is it normal to simulate the humans, who are in my surroundings, in my head

My communicational skills are very low when I confront humans face to face, but in my head I have proper, complex conversations. I am almost completely unable to say something even remotely as interesting or compelling as I do in my head. but the main part is the fact that I have these conversations in my head with the humans I usually have around me a lot and I want to talk to them in real life but I am scared of talking and there never seems to be enough time to hold a proper conversation if one were to start, so I simulate their personalities as accurately as I can, an have the conversations I always wanted to have in my mind. Sorry for the wall of text.

I do that in my head too. It’s like I’m a seperate entity that wanders about watching humans be human. It’s the reason I’m very contradictory in life. Because I don’t feel part of any collective and have formed different rules and standards (mostly a lack of) for myself. I think this selective mutism is almost like an inverted version of that distinction.

I say heaps of the complex shit one thinks to people because I’m that way and you find it hard to do that because of this. You’re overthinking how the “humans” will perceive your thoughts and faltering as a result. Whereas I under think it and people go wtf are you talking about, kind of like now....

The normality depends on the extent, like how disabling it is for you, how much it impacts your relationships with people. Many people have this from time to time, but if it happens often and has been lifelong/chronic, then it might be something to research, social anxiety disorder could be a possibility.

(I still voted 'normal' because I can relate as an autistic person and someone who likely used to have social anxiety disorder, social and communication deficits are traits of autism, and statistically it could be considered normal in the sense of being common since 1 in 59 people are autistic.)

      I have a communicational disorder.

Also, I think it mainly just affects me because it is frustrating to know I cannot achieve what I am capable of just because of my anxiety. I hope this makes sense.

I don't like it. It smells and tastes bad, and barely has any effect on me.

Alcohol and drugs are not the answer to all of life's problems.

sounds like a preprogrammed answer from the DARE program or a religious

and where did i say anythin about drugs?

and where did i say answer to all lifes problems

theres absolutely nothin thats an answer to all lifes problems so why would somethin as crazy & volatile as alcohol be

alcohol makes borin or difficult times fun & memorable but must be used with adult discipline & caution

and it just plain dont work with some people or situations

but in the case of everythin alignin right yes alcohol absolutely can be an elegant solution to a shy & tongue tied personality

You didn't say anything about drugs on this answer, but you did on the one with the girl who likes being fat.

"and where did i say answer to all lifes problems" You didn't, but it seems to be your go-to answer lately.

What you are saying is reasonable. I might try alcohol at a later point.

You refer to others as humans instead of people, as if you yourself are not a human.

I don't like to relate to them. They make no sense to me. Always controlled by emotions, which constantly ends in problems. I literally cannot understand why they do so many bad things. Why be deliberately inconsiderate and rude? I'm not saying that I am the nicest being there is, but I care to not be rude.
