Is it normal to sleep with your puppy

I live by myself and my dog is glued to me at all times. My boyfriend hates sleeping over because my pit bull tries to push him out of the bed!

It's normal, I let my puppy sleep with me until the day i woke up and there was poop all over the foot of the bed. oops.

If you allow her to sleep in the bed with you, she will not view you as the Alpha Dog, or pack leader, and you will have major problems when she gets older because she will have no respect for you. Dogs need boundaries and they must be set as soon as you get the dog. You need to get a bed for her and make her start sleeping in it.

It's okay to sleep with your puppy. My sister use to sleep with her puppy all the time.

My cat wraps herself around my head when I am sleeping. Sometimes I will wake up with a foot in my ear, a paw in my eye, and her face on my forehead. It is so darned cute!

Yah totally be happy the puppy loves you! Puppies are so adorable please cherish that because before u know It ur little puppy is going to be all grown up! I sleep with my dog all the time he keeps me warm:) lol

My Standard Poodle sleeps with me every night. She's like a security blanket and perfectly house trained, too. Can't imagine it any other way. She's quiet and still. I can see how it could be a pain if the dog were any other way.

yeah its normal. i let the dogs come on the bed until its time for sleep then they go sleep in their own room.

Perfectly normal, possibly not the best thing to do depending on the training and stuff, but very, very normal.

Still do it with my dog, and as a trainer i'm told, and tell others, it's bad all the time :S

My cats sleep with me! Unless you're trying to get busy/do the deed with someone else in your bed at the time(which the thought of any eyes on me, human or not, would surely freak me out), I think it's sweet when an animal finds companionship or comfort in being close to it's owner. I may never understand why anyone would want to marry their pet or anything creepy like that.. but there's a reason why they're called "a man's best friend!" They have souls and are our pals, too :)

Def normal. Sucks when they aren't potty trained lol. I still sleep with my now fully grown dog sometimes.
