Is it normal to slide down the stairs in laundry tubs?
When i was a kid, me and my sisters use to take plastic laundry tubs and slide down the stairs with them. Did anyone else do this as a kid?

"sniff" I didn't have stairs. :( still don't and didn't know anyone that did when I was a kid. I guess what I did scared my mother when I was real little. I used to pretend I drowned in the tub.
I am still laughing at that last part. I'm sure your mother didn't appreciate it though.
Oh damn, I gotta pee from laughing so hard...
Aww, tori. I've got two sets of stairs where I live now. I'll happily donate one to the tori foundation if it stops young toris from drowning.
Although I'm going to need to find another way to get to my bedroom when my stairs are gone!
When I was little I and some cousins would take little toboggans down the huge stone stairs of their house in Buckinghamshire. We did it again and again (out of sight of the adults) until one of us crashed and broke some bones. We were lucky to not be killed but it was great fun. I look at the stairs now and they look like the Matterhorn. I shake my head.
Yup I sure did. Also rode a mattress and my bike down the stairs too...The bike one didn't turn out so well lol
Me an my brother used to do it on mattresses all the time. So I think it's a kid thing. Completely normal I say
my cousins used to do that with blankets and mattresses in their old house :) if i tried that in my house right now though, i would crash into stuff
Thank you Dappled! Although pretending to drown and scaring the beejeebers out of my mother was very funny for me, sliding down stairs seems wonderful. I think you need to keep your stairs to get to your magical room!! :)
I did it in a sleeping bag padded out with pillows. If we weren't up to that, me and my brother were polishing up the kitchen floor and skidding around all over it in our socks. Happy days! Well, it was only last Tuesday, to be honest, but even so - happy days!
We would do it with inflatable chairs. There is still a pretty good size hole in a wall at my parents from an incident.
