Is it normal to sniff other people?

I like to sniff people, usually my friends, so I can appreciate their scent, but sometimes animals, miscellaneous objects, and occasionally, other people’s posessions when they are no longer with me. This will sometimes extend to me smelling bedding or pillows if they have slept in my bed.
