Is it normal to sniff your own poop after long jogs?

Once in a good while, I usually go on nice strolls down the path near where I live. I often go with my friend, Ernest, and we like to be very active and go on the jogs together, we also enjoy rock and tree climbing. Now, when I arrive at my living quarters, I usually haave to use the lavrotories almost immediatly. So, I do my buisness, but in the process of wiping, I tend to sniff the feces on the paper. I've done this ever since my early years of living... Is this normal? I've asked my friend Ernest and he says that he also does this. Please help.
