Is it normal to sometimes get headaches that last around a second?

Not too often. Sometimes I get pain at random in the back of my head that comes and goes almost instantly. The pain itself is pretty intense but thankfully very short, a couple seconds at most, sometimes maybe less than a second.

    Sounds like an icepick headache. I have headaches often so im pretty much an expert at this point lol.
    Ice pick headaches tend to come on suddenly, last a few seconds like a stab to the head then go away and may return hours later for just a few seconds again.

      How does blinking even hurt, unless you got something stuck in your eye? And how does it hurt the back of your head?
