Is it normal to sometimes live my life based on karma/god

Well sometimes I think that I am living my life based on karma (some might say god). It started like this, I started watching My Name Is Earl (funny show by the way) and it got me thinking. Maybe my life is bad because I have done a lot of bad things in life (I admit that I have). I think its actually true. Sometimes when I do something good, something good happens to me and same when I do something bad, something bad happens to me. This has gotten to a part where I try not to do anything bad at all (example: saying "oh my god"). Is this normal that I sometimes live my life based on karma?

A lot of people think the life you live is based on what you did in a past life. My Name Is Earl kind of twisted this a little because they couldn't have made the show otherwise.

Personally, I don't believe in karma, but I'm more than happy if people live their lives karmaically. It's a good way to be.

The way I live is to always imagine how other people will feel if I take a certain course of action. Both the Bible and intuitivism have this tenet - "do unto others as you would be done by yourself".

Karma is real. Its rational name is cause and effect.

Think of yourself in a situation in which if someone does bad to you or others would you or others just let him go may be you would but someday when he meets a person like him he shall taste his own medicine. Good people who live good always are happy actually besides the luxury they are happy from inside, as no one shall do bad tot hem as they have not done to anyone. would you do bad to good think for yourself whom would you do bad too if you had to?

I think its somewhat nornal its like christians they feel if they live a good life and please "god" they'll go to heaven I personally don't believe in god anymore I use to but like a year ago I started asking questions and christians had no idea how to answer I mean there is absolutely zero proof of God and he's always inexplicably no where to be found when terrible things happen 9/11,Earthquakes etc I'm pretty much saying live your life the best way you know how to

  • There is no karma. Look at people who lead good lives and you'll see that their lives are fraught with risk and danger. For them the future is at best uncertain.

If anything it's the evil man who is assured of a good life because of his deeds.

  • It is very normal. Because you tested it and you got positive results. And this is a question that many people ask. " Why would God allow you to have days that suck " well , let's be honest. If all the days were great . We woudldnt be in need of God's help. We turn to him only in bad days. And another tip. If you are nice to a dick. Later on he is nt going to have a choice . He is gna have to be nice back.

I couldn't FATHOM how the political's on top could initiate war, how many dictators could massacre their own people with ease, how the heads of corporations could cause so much harm to so many (tobacco), while other company's simply ruin the earth with oil spills, plastic production, and the likes. I especially wonder how any priest could use a sacred religious practice to their advantage so they may seduce young boys, or massacre others on a crusade in the name of the lord.

If I were them, I'd seriously fear for my own life - be it while they're alive (may they get cancer), or when they die (may they resurrect as a worm, or be punished in a un-comprehendible way).

Just be the best you that you can be, as long as you don't hurt anyone else, and if you ever become the head of a corporation, aim to help people more than exploit them.
