Is it normal to spend all day with my cat?

Whenever I’m home, I spend pretty much all day with my cats. One of my two cats will sit on my bed or lay on me while I do everything. Obviously not while I’m using the rest room or getting food, but during almost every other time. I feel really lonely without them. Is this normal?

The real question is, is it norman to not spend all day with a cat?
I think if people did more of that the world would be more peaceful.

  My old weenie dog used to do the same thing, would curl up in your pants, look at you & wait. & if you locked him out he would scratch the door & whine.

I would've gone crazy if I didn't hug any cats for a month. Even a week without them makes me feel so lonely so I can understand how you feel, OP.
