Is it normal to stalk/research people you don't know?

Sometimes I see people in my college who I think they either look cool, or that they're hot, so I will just go on Facebook and do some endless friend stalking to try and find them! Even if I don't know them at all, and don't even plan on speaking to them. I only really do it to see what they're like. But I feel like such a stalker. Whenever I see them at college walking around I feel so awkward and uncomfortable!!

yeah i think most people use facebook to stalk people. no one will admit it though. but the thing is, you cant judge people by what they put on the internet. chances are they are nothing to what they put on their statuses and arent as "cool" as they try to make out in their profile pictures. if you really want to find out about a person then talk to them. but dont be creepy about it. i am guessing that you find it hard to make friends. try joining a social club or something.

If something makes you uncomfortable you should probably make steps to stop that behavior.

I am so guilty of this. My And an old friend of mine became interested in our mutual friends friend, who was a gay male. His blow were hilarious, his pictures were entertaining I mean we really cyber stalked the shit out of him lmao. One day as we were dining at ihop WHO walks in and got seated at the table right next to Ours? Awkward city! we were just talking about him before he came in ,it was THE most uncomfortable meal I've ever had.

Sounds to me like you want to see what they're like coz you think you're not cool or good enough. You need to accept yourself and be happy with who you are. A cliche, I know, and easier said than done, but that's what it's like.
