Is it normal to start college at 25/26?

I'm 23 and male and I've had problems that have stopped me fro attending college, but I'm planning to start in the next 2 to 3 years, is it normal to start college at this age? I feel weird, and kind of like a loser for starting too late.

No not at all. It's totally normal. In fact see it as a plus! It might work for you in to the romance department.

That's one of the things I'm worried about. won't most of the girls be under my age and I'll be seen as some creepy pervert for dating them?

        Are you kidding?

You're not that much older anyway. It's all in your head. Normal to be worried about but it really isn't a big deal. Don't let such a thing like that stop you.

I started back last year @ 31 years old. I want to persue culinary arts and am sick of office jobs.. There were people in my class in their 50's so don't worry. You will see people much older, your age, and younger. There are some students I see that don't even look like they're old enough to be in college. I guess I feel younger aged so it looks weird but I have to stop and realize I'm 32 not 22.. Get back into it !! Don't worry about what other people think.

I didn''t start until 28, so 25 / 26 is a good age to start as you are more mature.
