Is it normal to stick my pinky finger out when drinking anything?
I am not English and it seems to happen without thinking. I thought it was from breaking my finger, but I do it with both hands.

O_o you assumed the pinky cup method is English? LMAO!
It depends on the cup for me, coffee cups (café style) with those tiny little handles is one example. I can't exactly stick my four fingers into the hole. I know most people prefer the pinch method when dealing with such cups but I'm scared I would spill it!
Beer glasses ie. pint longs with the long handles I will have a firm grip with all four fingers in the hole with no erected pinky.
I do the same thing, I don't know why exactly. I found myself doing it the other day with a cold drink. it's odd, but I think its still normal
Why do people assume it's ENGLISH? Geez. I know English people and they never do it but I do and I'm not English..
Me too. Because I used to do it to pretend to be sophisticated, but it actually became of a habbit.
I do this. I am English but don't do it because I am English. I am basically opposite of posh. It's just something I do without even realising.
I do that too, and I've always thought that it was because I had some strange damage. Maybe it's a subconscious reflex?
Sometimes I've caught myself doing it and tried to stop myself, but it's so difficult!
