Well, the Harry Potter series is one of the biggest in the world, and that's just a kid's book. Yet I find more adults who've read it than children. There are a handful of children's books that I love to bits. If they're well written, I think anyone can get away with reading them.
I love fantasy, w/ that, depending on what type you read (my preference was/is witches, dragons etc.) you can't always tell what's YA & what's not. A lot of people have told me it's good that I read at all which I find quite sad. Enjoy what you read/don't bother.
I can beat that!
Tom sees the ball.
Red ball.
Tom has the ball.
Tom gives the ball to Dick.
I love that metaphysical kid's shit.
Kick the ball, Tom. Kick the ball.
My brain went wrong early and now I'm stuck with this stuff.
Of course it's normal! Who do you think writes those novels? The worst thing any author can do is write a novel that they have no interest in.
