Is it normal to still feel upset about what my co-worker had done?
Yesterday was my final day to be trained as a cashier at cheesecake factory. Cashiers earn tips due to all the work they do. They have to take orders over the phone and/or for in store to go orders, go grab them and are responsible to help the bakers when they are free, since they are behind the desserts display most of the time with the bakers. The customers can choose how much to tip. Not only that, cashiers are responsible to keep others' away from the drawer to keep them from taking the money because at the end the night they have to add up all the numbers on sales correctly.
Though yesterday was my certification day the lady that was training me happened to be a baker that day and I ended up being the cashier for the day and did all the work. I happened to look at the end of the day and all the tip that I had earned she had taken. I feel like I should had asked her where did the tip go that "I" had earned.
I understand that she was training me but I did all the work, I even did the bakers work while she was gone off smoking and going to the restroom. Also I have worked there longer than her. I start out as a baker which I've been there nearly a year now.
I feel like asking her why she took it when I did all the work.
