Is it normal to still wear underwear that has stains on it?

Of course I wash my underwear and wear clean underwear! But even after washing them sometimes they still have period stains or discharge stains on them (but never shit stains). Should I throw away stained underwear and get new ones?

    Of course, it would be desirable to throw out your stained underwear and buy new ones, but not everyone can afford this...underwear is not cheap these days (particularly for women)...I use Spray N Wash on my underwear for small and lighter stains...it helps take them out...and is reasonably inexpensive...anyone else have any suggestions for this laundry issue as to how to clean them?...

    Not necessarily desireable...but reasonably normal...As a man...I usually the tighty whities, and often saw yellow stains on them after awhile...even though I know I had washed them...defecation stains are quite common for both men and women as well as blood discharge stains for women...

    Yes, with the period stains. I did get new undies but even new undies sadly aren't immune to period woes...

    @at all men-- get a bloomin grip- its just biology. why do guys always work themselves up when they see the word period- i find it so wierd that they love going up there and generally enjoy all manner of our girly bits and pieces and dont mind the sight of blood in general but periods euurgh!- stupid victorians got us all wrapped up in taboos.
    why do we have to be perfect ethereal hairless, blemish free, slim but curvy, never get periods/ nor pee/ nor fart, nails painted, eye brows plucked, tanned, - so much work guys have no idea!- they just trim their nose hair and put on a shirt
