Is it normal to study so hard, you would of been better of not studyin

Well I swear sometimes when studying for a test I go through every possible thing. So that means any spare time before the test I have to have asuch study as possible. This leads to sleep deprivation and even headaches just for the test. Is it sometimes better not to study at all?

  • Study effectively in short bursts. It depends on what you study. If it's memorization, then lots of studying is good. If it's scientific or mathematical, you are better off understanding the concepts but not sweating it too much. problem is, once you get to college, in engineering anyway, there is so much fucking shit to understand that it drives you half insane! Then you HAVE to study a lot to learn the material and if you don't understand something you get nowhere and just have to move one.

You need to understand how your brain and body works dude. Stress only makes you more stupid. Try making mindmaps of your work, then relax and simply review them the next morning.

Your studying too hard. I've been through that. Don't study "harder" study "smarter"

Depending on the nature of the course, go over the exam material three times.

    1) First time for flavor

    2) Second time for details---

    3) Third time to bring it all together

Then, put it up. Forget about it. Don't obsessively study. You'll do great. Good luck!

  • Well if you are studying and pulling an all nighter leading to sleep deprivation that is ALMOST as bad as not studying at all IF your brain and body can't handle it. Wat you need to do is study in increments. A little bit each day until you've mastered the entire material instead of a shitloada material all at once.
